| The Valley of Vision
Lord, high and holy, meek and lowly,
Thou hast brought me to the valley of vision, where I live in the depths but see Thee in the heights; hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold Thy glory.
Let me learn by paradox that the way down is the way up, that to be low is to be high, that the broken heart is the healed heart, that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit, that the repenting soul is the victorious soul, that to have nothing is to possess all, that to bear the cross is to wear the crown, that to give is to receive, that the valley is the place of vision.
Lord, in the daytime stars can be seen from deepest wells, and the deeper the wells the brighter Thy stars shine;
Let me find Thy light in my darkness, Thy life in my death, Thy joy in my sorrow, Thy grace in my sin, Thy riches in my poverty, Thy glory in my valley. | | |
| Spiritus Sanctus
O HOLY SPIRIT, As the sun is full of light, the ocean full of water, Heaven full of glory, so may my heart be full of thee.
Vain are all divine purposes of love and the redemption wrought by Jesus except thou work within, regenerating by thy power, giving me eyes to see Jesus, showing me the realities of the unseen world.
Give me thyself without measure, as an unimpaired fountain, as inexhaustible riches.
I bewail my coldness, poverty, emptiness, imperfect vision, languid service, prayerless prayers, praiseless praises. Suffer me not to grieve or resist thee.
Come as power -- to expel every rebel lust, to reign supreme and keep me thine; Come as teacher -- leading me into all truth, filling me with all understanding; Come as love -- that I may adore the Father, and love him as my all; Come as joy -- to dwell in me, move in me, animate me; Come as light -- illuminate the Scripture, moulding me in its laws; Come as sanctifier -- body, soul and spirit wholly thine; Come as helper -- with strength to bless and keep, directing my every step; Come as beautifier -- bringing order out of confusion, loveliness out of chaos.
Magnify to me Thy glory by being magnified in me, and make me redolent* of Thy fragrance.

| This is a new weblog entry.... | | |
| Last night we lost power at our house but I wired. It was about 1am, So I was thinking to myself what can I do to pass the time. I decided to read...I picked up a book I intended to start a couple of months ago, it is titled, "The Glorious Prusiut, "Embracing The VIrtues of Christ.""
In the first few pages a thought the author had written jumped out at me, he was quoting C.S. Lewis, from one of his novels. He stated, "I now see that I spent most of my life in doing neither what I ought nor what I liked." I think a lot of us today will be just like that charater. We get so caught up in doing life we do not live the life that God intended.
John 10:10b God's purpose is to give life in all its fullness.
If we surrender comletely to God and embrace the virtues of Christ that is when we will live life it all its fullness. We have all been created to give God our all, and he has gifted each one of for a special part in the big picture. My prayer for you is that you do in your life as God has planned, do not sit back one day and make the statement, "I now see that I spent most of my life in doing neither what I ought nor what I liked." God has so much more if you will only tapped in to His almighty power...
Pray this:
God thank you for loving me so much that you gave Chirst to die on the cross, God use me the way YOU designed me. Lord show me YOUR way for my life so I can live the life you intended, "in all its fullness"...

| Hey everyone,
Sorry for the delayed post, just getting caught up from Middle School Camp. It was absolutley amazing, I feel that God really moved through our group and alot of them are ready to go to the next level in their walk.
The speaker was Adam Robinson, and I want to share with you a little of what he said. The first morning he asked, "Where Does God Go When you Say Amen." All the time we fall in to the trap of thinking God goes away when we say Amen or is only around when we are praying to Him.
Deut. 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
God is always around, but we typically only include Him in our time of need, or desperation. I challenge you today to not end your prayers with Amen, but leave the lines of communication open to God all day, walk with him all day, talk to him all day.
Pray this,
God thank you for loving me so much, God help me to see you through all things, help to spend all day with You, God I Love You....
